:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Andrea -- A great introduction to vampire lore and comics for youngins : I pre-ordered this book having been a fan of the author's previous work (Patrik the vampire web comic.) I love the art style so much. The story is very cute and I enjoyed the inclusion of traditional vampire lore. I am much older than the intended audience, but I can appreciate the message behind the story. Good book for the middle school age group as it has messages about determination, not to be judgemental, to be kind to others, making friends, and to try to be positive about others (even if they have hurt your feelings in the past). Beautifully colored and drawn as well. : I, Rich Moyer's daughter, (the ten year old) wouldn't naturally understand the logic of a garlic bulb gardening and selling its own kind, but everything is so well explained and of coarse entertaining. If you have very sensitive children, don’t be dissuaded by the vampire aspect of this story! It’s actually very sweet and both my boys flew threw it and loved it.
